Fantastically Unusual, Radically Insane

Objective:

Crop, manipulate, or otherwise alter graphics for some other purpose, including printing, web documents, and personal uses. The worktime on these graphics ranges, depending on how much detail is needed, what has to be fixed, and how many actual versions need to be made before a final version if created. All the following pictures are thumbnails of much larger files.

Examples:

(1)

before cropping after cropping

This example is the simple removal of proof punch-outs. The owner of the photos had paid for a package, but did not have an original which was not bent. Similar problems that can be remedied by the same steps used to fix these photos include sediment on photos, dried on wax/tape, scratches, and the like. The area under the trouble spot is created from surrounding pieces, patterns, and similar looking colors. The photo on the left is one of a photo from the project with punches, and the photo on the right was one of the photos after work was done. As you see, the results can be nearly as good in quality as what the original spot of photo would have been.

(2)

in between cropping

This photo shows the work in progress of a little girl's trip to Carowinds. She managed to have her picture taken with Scooby, however the background was full of people. The idea was to crop the photo to just the girl and Scooby. This was not very challenging, although no background image was chosen to be places behind her. It's something you could choose to do, but was not needed here. As you see to the right of her and Scooby's feet, the blacktop of Carowinds is still then visible.

(3)

before, covered in tape afterwards, without such a mess

This example shows some of the harm time can do to photographs, especially if unwise actions are taken upon them. Adding tape to a photo in a scrapbook may seem wonderful now, but what about later? This photo was taken over 30 years ago, and was not cared for overly much since. The tape yellowed several points in the photo, as shown in the picture on the left side. While removing the photo from a damaged scrapbook, the owner could not help but rip it as well. What do you do then? Throw it away and let go of a memory you might not be able to replace. This was a picture taken during the owner's highschool years and could not be replaced. As you see in the photo on the right side, we managed to fix a great deal of it. The needed parts were reconstructed, and all but one major part of the first photo was kept in the second. The owner did not like the bell shadow in the lower right hand corner of the new photo, so it was removed. Yes...you can have things removed as well. That's the joy of digital technology. With a little bit of time spent, and some idea of what you need, you are able to backup and save moments of the past in a much more efficient form. Photographs are great, but they bend and fade. With a digital copy, you can later print thousands of proofs if need be. Without these tools, a memory might have been lost. Thankfully it wasn't, and thankfully there's still time to save those memories.

Conclusion:

The previous examples should give you some idea what is possible with our services. That is not to limit anything you may have to be worked on. Most anything can be cropped, fixed, or edited to any means. It's only a matter of what you need done, and how pratical the means to that end are. Scratches, fading, color running, water damage, cuts, tears, unneeded objects-people, and many other issues can be corrected digitally. Please send in your questions, or ideas on possible projects you need done. It's very possible that what you have in mind will not take overly long, nor be very expensive. Atleast not from us. Prices are always reasonable, and our main concern is helping people get done what they need done.
